Stargate Atlantis - Ain't No Rest For The Wicked
catnap332
First of all, the editing is great. I really like her clip choices; they fit really well with the music and represent the connections among the main villains and John Sheppard nicely. I think that the lack of the effects was a perfect solution for this kind of music. The music itself gave the good editing potential which she used very well.

Stargate - Total Eclipse of the Heart
RodneysGirl90
This is one of the most emotionally built-up Stargate SG-1/Stargate Atlantis crossover videos I have ever seen. The use of the clips for the lyrics and the use of this kind of lightning effect for the beats make this the best Stargate video showing the bittersweet and never fulfilled love between the different characters. The video was brilliantly edited while it uses the song perfectly. Some can say that this type of music doesn’t fit in with sci-fi footage, but in my opinion this makes the video so original in the first place. Using the silhouette of the City of Atlantis and the stars as a frame for the video is totally unique, too. This somehow connects and frames the two shows.

Stargate Atlantis - 5 years of ...
LaPrincesseNini
Love, friendship, tears, family, team, hope, suffering and happiness. These words were the thank you for the 5 years of Atlantis in the video. This video represents the desire of most of the fans to say thank you for the 5 years of love, friendship, tears, family, team, hope, suffering and happiness, everything this show gave us, the fans, who followed the series through all those years. We could watch the characters’ journey through the team’s adventures and fights, and friendships and loves. The song, the clip choice, the use of Elizabeth’s speech at the beginning and the editing were touching, I liked especially the use of the saturation effects that highlighted the drama; the cutting and timing was perfect as well.

Evening on the Ground

This is a character video about John Sheppard, showing the connections among him and the members of his team and his relationship with the City of Atlantis. The cutting and timing were perfect. The clips and the editing represent the character’s development well. The use of black and white effect and the great use of music emphasize all the drama that happened with him and the expedition members during those years. This video also shows that he isn’t alone even when he feels lonely and often blames himself for the bad events.

Sunday
ppatoc
What makes this vidlet one of the best episodic videos? The use of music, slowing down certain clips to show the importance of the single moments and also the brilliant choice of clips. We, who watched Stargate Atlantis, all knew that this episode – Sunday – was the one when we lost a very likeable character, Dr. Carson Beckett. This vidlet shows us the drama evolving, every single event that happened to him and led him to his tragic death on that day, a day that started nicely and then all the unexpected things that occured. We can also see the other characters saying their good-byes at the end while struggling with the feeling of loss.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Trailer Stargate Atlantis Style
Valika
I don’t know how to describe this crossover vidlet. A hilarious, very funny, brilliantly edited trailer with the most perfectly chosen clips from SGA is matched with the soundtrack of the original movie trailer. She combined the original voices and the SGA characters’ voices very well, such as Marvin’s voice with an Asgard, and Todd as the narrator with the deep voice. It made me laugh loudly.
