The Hunger Games || So Cold
Grable424
If you’ve been on youtube at all in the past month or so, chances are you’ve probably run across this vid. Regardless, how could I not review it? I mean, it’s amazing. Completely and utterly beautiful. It blows my mind with how beautiful it is actually. The vid is so well edited, pro worthy edited, and all the clip choices are so awesome (especially since this was done with only trailers and tv spots). This vid will definitely touch your heart. Whether you’ve seen the movie, read the books, or are watching the vid going “what’s the hunger games?”. Yes, those people do still exist. I was semi one of them when I first watched this. Now, after seeing the movie, I have read all the books (within a couple of days) and am no longer apart of that thinning district. I will also say that this vid played a big part in getting me to watch the movie. No lie. So if you are one of the few who still haven’t watched this vid, go check it out and may the odds be forever in your favor. What? I had too.

Sail On (Penelope)
SecretlytoDream
Wait did I miss something? Was this a tv spot for the movie? Capturing the essence of a movie like Penelope (if you haven’t seen it then go get it from Netflix or something now) isn’t easy. A real world fantasy with a quirky feel and a wonderful message, is not something easy to vid, let alone capture perfectly. Seriously, this vid is the movie in a bottle. I love the off beat whimsical feel to it. The coloring is just perfect and adds just the right amount of atmosphere to the vid. This is something that you can’t miss. So go watch it, and the movie if you haven’t already.

The Trio/The Marauders/Snape: "They were kids that I once knew..."
Beautifullytragic6
As a Harry Potter fan (and one since the age of seven) this vid is amazing for a fan. The song is just perfect for HP and, when you match that with all the heart wrenching clip choices and unique editing style, you are left with this vid. A touching masterpiece. As a kid from the HP generation, I literally got to grow up along side the Trio and they are indeed “kids that I once knew”. I imagine clearly future generations asking about HP and what was it like when all the books and movies were being released. The pride I feel in saying that I was there for all of it, and then I watch this vid, and this vid shows everything that I know I will feel in my heart, as well as what I already do feel. It brought back so many memories. Anyway, don’t miss out on this little trip down memory lane and click the link above.

Let's get lost -- Edward&Bella
Smumsi
I’ll freely admit that I haven’t been the biggest Twilight fan since I was about fifteen years old (I did read all the books and I have seen all the movies bar the most recent one), but whether you hate Twilight, adore it, or simply think it was over hyped, this vid is truly beautiful. It flows with the song wonderfully and the way the clips are put together make for a truly magical experience. You have to really appreciate the editing on this one, especially since a lot of Twilight vids kinda fall a little flat, at least for me. This vid does no such thing and that credit all goes to the brilliant editing.

The Crow [Victims; Aren't We All?] Feat. Bassnectar
adelicateflower08
I know, I know. In house promoting, but this vid is too amazing. I’ve only seen the crow once (a long time ago) and this vid is enough to almost make me hunt the movie down for a good rewatch. This vid is awesome. The editing gives it such a unique flow and vibe. It’s not a linear vid, which also makes it something really interesting to watch, and it really captures the feel of the movie, from what I remember at least. It also serves as quite the brilliant character study. So, even if you have never even heard of the movie, this vid is not one to pass up. The editing and atmosphere of the vid is just too amazing for that.

James McAvoy • The Perfect Weapon
Nyah86Production
Okay, this vid is just too cool. I have to say something to you all about it. The editing is just jaw dropping in parts and the vid is an overall experience to watch. I personally love the quotes that run through it, as well as the occasional sound of gunfire, and, can I repeat how much I adore the editing again? It goes with the beat and flow of the music so well, I can’t say enough about it really. So, this begs the question, what have you done lately? Watched this vid I hope.
